As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.ABOUT THE TEAMAnduril's Security Engineering team is looking for a security engineer to focus on building world class defensive controls to protect the infrastructure around our defense technology products.WHAT YOU'LL DODesign and implement security controls across cloud, production, and corporate infrastructureDevelop tools and systems to improve security posture and operational efficiencyConduct security architecture and design reviews for systems and applicationsBuild automation to detect, monitor, and remediate security issuesWork across infrastructure, application, and operational security domainsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong programming ability in one or more general purpose languages (Python, Go, Rust, etc)Experience with one or more infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) in a production capacityExperience conducting security architecture or design reviews around custom business applicationsSolid understanding of modern attack vectors and defensive mitigation strategiesExperience working with cloud platforms and deploying applications through CI/CD pipelinesExperience developing and implementing defensive controls around endpoint and SaaS applicationsAbility to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and collaborate across teamsHave participated in or supported incident response eventsEligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience building bespoke solutions in high-growth and high-complexity environmentsExperience with log aggregation, secrets management, or endpoint security toolsExperience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystem and toolingStrong experience with Linux operating systemsUS Salary Range$166,000—$220,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
