In this role, you will be responsible for performing a combination of dishwashing and table bussing duties with pride, excellence, and professionalism. Your primary job duties will be in the back-of-house, where you will ensure food safety standards are met while performing your duties.What will we ask of you?Help the Servers to clear soiled dishes, clean, disinfect, and sanitize dining room tables and commonly touched areas around the restaurant.Sweep, mop, and maintain entry area, dining room, restroom, and service area floors using safety and sanitation equipment.Maintain the overall cleanliness of restrooms and keep supplies stocked.Maintain the cleanliness of the building grounds, sidewalks, landscaping, parking lot, outside and inside windows, glass, mirrors, and doors in the dining room and restrooms.Remove trash from all front-of-house and restroom trash bins, and maintain the cleanliness of the dumpster area and all trash cans in the building.Assist with minor repairs around the restaurant with attention to safety precautions.Assist with the unloading of restaurant goods and supplies from delivery trucks and stock supply areas.Perform dishwashing duties when necessary or perform a combination of both duties when not busy.Who qualifies for this job?To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty listed above and be able to communicate and work effectively with other team members.Must comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards.Perform other assignments or tasks assigned by the General Manager, Assistant Manager, MOD, or acting Supervisor.What is required physically to perform this job?Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.Expect excessive standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and stretching.Regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.Regular exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and cleaning and dish-machine chemicals.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Benefits:Flexible Hours - Full Time, Part Time, Seasonal hours available.Extensive training.Employee Meal Program - $15 discount on employee meals during your meal break.Eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, critical illness, and accident plan after 12 months of consecutive service.Opportunities to cross train into other positions for the right person.Location: San Antonio and Surrounding Areas, TXIf you are a motivated individual with great time management and organizational skills, a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment, and an eye for detail, this is the perfect job for you!
