CNC Programmer Cranford, New Jersey – Direct Hire – $99,840 / Senior CNC Lathe Programmer / Setup Specialist Location: Cranford, NJ Area – 48/hour ability to make more with overtime Growing ISO-certified precision manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, medical device, and other highly regulated industries is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer / Setup Specialist. This is a hands‑on role responsible for CNC lathe setup, programming, troubleshooting, process improvement, and cycle‑time optimization in a high‑mix, tight‑tolerance manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Setup and program CNC lathes for prototype and production work Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs Troubleshoot machining and quality issues Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies Support multi‑axis turning, live tooling, and mill‑turn operations Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams Qualifications 7+ years of CNC lathe setup and programming experience Experience with aerospace, defense, medical device, or other precision‑machined components Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge Ability to independently setup, program, troubleshoot, and optimize machining processes Experience with CAM software; Mastercam preferred Multi‑axis, live tooling, or mill‑turn experience is a plus What We Offer Excellent benefits package Tuition reimbursement and ongoing training Consistent overtime opportunities Stable, growth‑oriented manufacturing environment Apply today to learn more about this confidential opportunity.
