Fiber Technician II

Pay: $22–$27/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a skilled Fiber Technician II to install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and structured cabling systems in commercial and data center environments in Chandler, AZ.

• Install and terminate fiber optic and copper cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A).
• Perform fiber splicing, testing, and certification using OTDRs, power meters, and related tools.
• Troubleshoot cabling, connectivity, and signal issues.
• Install patch panels, splice trays, racks, cabinets, and cable pathways.
• Label, document, and maintain cable infrastructure according to industry standards.
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities.

• 2–5 years of fiber optic and structured cabling experience.
• Experience with fiber splicing, terminations, and OTDR testing.
• Knowledge of OSP/ISP environments, fiber color codes, and cabling standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and riser diagrams.
• Experience with Cat5e/Cat6 installations and Fluke testing.

• BICSI Installer
• FOA CFOT or ETA Fiber Optic Technician
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
