Seasonal Travel RN - Operating Room

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Seasonal Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. This role requires a minimum of one year of current acute care OR hospital experience. The RN will be responsible for providing patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in various surgical procedures including Orthopedics, GYN, General, Urology, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, and more.
• Utilize advanced technologies such as DaVinci Robotics and Mako systems during surgeries.
• Monitor and manage patients' vital signs and administer medications as needed.
• Provide communication and support to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Participate in on-call requirements, including one late night per week and one Saturday every four weeks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care OR RN hospital experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with DaVinci Robotics, orthopedics, neurology, and vascular procedures is highly preferred.
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR is a plus.
