Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process and adheres to the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care as well as Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN will assume leadership responsibilities, which include delegating work to other levels of employees, while ensuring compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to provide care to patients.
• Delegate tasks effectively among team members.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) before contract start date; if not, a booked course must be arranged during Clinical Orientation.
