As a Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare and life sciences location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a respectful, service-oriented environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
