Research Manager

Responsibilities Own customer relationships end-to-end as a research partner Scope, design, and run research projects including concept testing, usability, and market exploration using Outset's AI platform Turn qualitative and quantitative data into clear, actionable customer insights Lead customer meetings, onboardings, and training sessions before and after sales Create research and product-focused content, documentation, and enablement materials Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to turn feedback into product and business impact Move quickly, experiment often, and drive projects to completion Requirements 5+ years in research, insights, or strategy roles Strong qualitative research experience Comfortable owning projects and client relationships independently in a fast-moving environment Strong at synthesizing messy data into sharp stories, decks, and dashboards Fluent in both numbers and narratives Clear, confident communicator with executives and day-to-day users Legally authorized to work in the United States Must answer whether employment visa sponsorship will be required now or in the future Willing to work 4 days a week in the San Francisco or New York office Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in qualitative research and data synthesis to deliver actionable insights, while effectively managing customer relationships and collaborating across teams to drive product impact.
