About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP (Cath Lab RN with Angio/Vascular)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8s or 4x10s | Start time 7:30 AM | On-call required approximately every 3rd week | Overtime may be available after 48 hours for candidates on a 4x10 schedule | Candidates should expect to work some holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional setting, including angio and vascular procedures
• Assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety throughout
• Participate in on-call rotation, approximately every 3rd week
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to assignment start (non-billable, averaging approximately 2 hours)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license valid in South Carolina at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate (locals accepted at local rate)
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 5 years before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Two supervisory references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with angiography and vascular procedures in an interventional setting
• Familiarity with floating to affiliate or sister facilities
• Flexibility with scheduling, including holiday coverage
