Description: This position is for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Room. The schedule includes three 12-hour night shifts each week. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to adults and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment. Key clinical skills required include IV therapy, ventilator management, and cardiac monitoring. Experience in managing emergencies, triage, and isolation precautions is essential. The nurse will be required to float within their skill set. The emergency department features state-of-the-art technology for effective patient care. The environment is equipped to handle various emergency diagnoses and trauma cases. There is a weekend requirement, and the nurse must be available for holiday shifts as needed. Please note that the facility may cancel shifts without incurring charges during the contract period. The nursing ratios are typically 1:5 for both day and night shifts. All candidates must have an active New York RN license; pending licenses are not accepted.
