Department Overview
The Human Resources department at Children's partners with the employees and the managerial staff to provide services such as recruitment and staffing, employee services (benefit, compensation, retirement, and payroll processing), labor relations, and organizational development.
Position Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic workforce HRBP embedded within a business-aligned POD, partnering with executive, director, and manager-level leaders to drive enterprise workforce outcomes. This role operates at the intersection of business strategy, workforce intelligence, and organizational performance, translating enterprise priorities into actionable workforce strategies that improve access, quality, experience, and financial outcomes. Location (e.g. remote or on-site): Remote with occasional on-site. Hiring within MN only. DHS Background Study Required? Yes
Education
Bachelor's degree in human resources management, healthcare administration, business or related fields required
Experience
Required: 10+ years of progressive experience, including demonstrated success in strategic roles partnering with senior leaders in complex, matrixed organizations Preferred: Experience supporting complex, matrixed healthcare or service organizations Experience using workforce analytics and/or AI-enabled tools Experience influencing senior leaders on workforce strategy

Knowledge: Healthcare operations and workforce drivers impacting access, quality, and performance Core HR disciplines Workforce analytics, forecasting, and the application of AI in decision-making Skills: Translate business strategy into actionable workforce plans Influence leaders at all levels (Executive through Manager) without authority Analyze data and translate insights into clear, actionable business decisions Solve complex workforce challenges with scalable, sustainable solutions Lead change and drive adoption of new ways of working Abilities: Operate as a strategic advisor focused on business outcomes Anticipate workforce risks and opportunities Integrate business needs, data, and HR expertise into clear recommendations Drive results through influence and alignment Leverage technology and AI to enhance decision-making

Salary and Benefits
The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee's scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs. In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of an occupational health assessment, drug screen, background investigation, and compliance with the U.S. Government Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.
