About The Role BSI is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Consulting Specialist to join our dynamic EHS team in Irvine, CA. This position is ideal for individuals with 1–3 years of experience supporting laboratory, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments. In this client-facing role, you\'ll partner with clients to support a broad range of environmental, health, and safety initiatives in highly regulated laboratory and biopharmaceutical settings. You\'ll conduct workplace assessments, evaluate compliance with applicable regulations, develop practical solutions, and help clients strengthen their EHS programs while working alongside experienced consultants in a collaborative environment. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in environmental health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field 1–3 years of EHS experience supporting laboratory, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated environments Working knowledge of laboratory safety principles, OSHA regulations, and EHS compliance requirements Experience conducting inspections, audits, risk assessments, or exposure evaluations is preferred Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients and team members Willingness to travel locally for client-related projects What We Offer BSI offers a competitive salary, group-sponsored health and dental, short-term and long-term disability, a company-matched 401k plan, company paid life insurance, 11 paid holidays and 4 weeks paid time off. The salary for this position can range from $85,800 to $98,000 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons.
