Contract | Days | 3×12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM | Weekend rotation required | Every other holiday | Standby call as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across all acuity types, including ICU and PCU patients, with appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios
• Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; pass a telemetry exam prior to assignment start
• Participate in weekend rotation and every other holiday as scheduled
• Respond to standby call as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required - American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient RN experience in Med/Surg and PCU, within the last 3 years
• First-time travelers must have more than 5 years of experience as an RN
• Must pass a telemetry exam (adult and pediatric) with a score of 80% or higher prior to assignment start; up to three attempts permitted under compliance guidelines
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for ICU-level patients in a mixed-acuity inpatient setting
• Familiarity with telemetry interpretation, including identification of lethal rhythms and heart blocks
• Flexibility to consider a 48-hour contract with increased weekend availability
