About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lifelink Healthtech LLC to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Orange, California, 92856!

We are currently seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at a 426-bed MAGNET acute-care hospital in Orange, California.

• Managing labor and delivery patients
• Monitoring maternal and fetal conditions
• Recognizing and responding to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Assisting with vaginal deliveries
• Circulating during C-sections
• Performing sterile vaginal examinations
• Caring for high-risk antepartum patients
• Managing patients with preterm labor, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, hypertension, diabetes, multiples, fetal anomalies, and other pregnancy-related conditions
• Administering medications including magnesium sulfate and antihypertensives
• Participating in procedures such as D&C, cerclage, and version

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience in a large hospital setting highly preferred
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate
• AWHONN Advanced preferred
