Embrace Your Role as a Speech Pathologist Your impactful journey involves: Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary. Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Celebrating patient victories along the way. Qualifications Current licensure or certification required by state regulations. Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC). CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience. EOE including Veterans/Disability Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech‑Language Pathologist and use your skills where they are needed most. You will help patients improve communication and swallowing disorders while working in an acute care hospital setting in Cumming, GA. Minimum Requirements Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA. Active Georgia SLP license required to start the assignment. Current AHA BLS certification required. Minimum of 15–18 months of recent acute care SLP experience preferred by client; prior acute care experience desirable. Experience supporting a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU, stroke/neurological, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive disorders. MBS/FEES proficiency is a plus but not required. Preferred Qualifications Prior acute care hospital experience supporting patients throughout the hospital. Proficiency in dysphagia evaluation and intervention, including instrumental assessments if available. Schedule generally 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (varies). 5 shifts per week, 8‑hour shifts. Must be willing to support acute care patients across hospital units, including ICU and medical/surgical floors. NOW ACCEPTING LOCALS & TRAVEL FOR THIS POSITION ONLY!
