The Internal Auditor role is pivotal in evaluating the companys financial and operational processes to ensure compliance, identify risks, and recommend improvements. They are responsible for improving the companys operations by conducting assurance and advisory engagements by using a variety of procedures to test the design, adequacy and operating effectiveness of controls./ppJob Responsibilities:/pulliPlanning, organizing, and eventually leading various audit engagements for the SLB businesses worldwide./liliExamine the companys financial records, accounting practices, and business operations to identify potential risks and inefficiencies./liliEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies./liliAnalyze risk management processes, identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste./liliCollaborate with management to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote transparency and accountability./liliParticipate in special projects, due diligence reviews, post-acquisition reviews and investigations, as required./liliAttend seminars and training courses; stay current on job-related technology./liliClient as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement./li/ulpJob Qualifications:/pulliBachelors degree in accounting/finance./liliMasters or certifications (CPA/CIA/ACCA) preferred./lili4-8 yrs experience in an external audit firm. Big4 experience preferred./liliAbility to travel up to 2 weeks at a time around 6 trips a year./li/ulpCareer Growth Work Experience:/ppThe position is a stepping stone into SLBs Finance team is considered a fast-tracked finance management development program. After 2-3 years in internal audit, learning company operations, internal auditors are promoted into finance roles across the globe.
