We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN opportunity at Safire Rehab of Southtowns. This role offers scheduling flexibility while giving you the opportunity to provide hands-on therapy and help residents improve their ability to perform everyday activities.
What You'll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks
• Follow individualized treatment programs established by the supervising OT
• Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress to the clinical team
• Reinforce adaptive techniques and strategies that promote safety and independence
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
• Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Active New York COTA license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to quality, resident-centered care
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply
