Registered Nurse – EP Lab

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | Onsite | No on-call required | No weekend requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with and circulate electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures from start to finish, remaining until procedures are complete
• Monitor and manage procedural sedation throughout EP and cardiac procedures
• Perform Activated Clotting Time (ACT) testing and interpret results to guide anticoagulation management
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including performing cardioversion as indicated
• Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG tracings in support of procedural care
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start date)
• Minimum of 3 years of EP Lab nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Valid radiation badge (must be provided by the staffing agency; not supplied by the facility)
• Demonstrated proficiency in ACT, cardioversion, procedural sedation monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an EP Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting
• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
