Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description Job is Temp-to-Hire. After a 3 month probationary period through the agency, employees' quality of work, productivity, and attendance will be evaluated before an offer is made. Pay: $25.50 - $38.25 per hour Essential Duties and Responsibilities Repair equipment to specifications on work orders. Build or rebuild production equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance on boilers and compressors. Move machinery (rig and move) as requested. Comply with OSHA regulations. Comply with all environmental safe practices and regulations, including thorough knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets, oil and chemical labeling and storage requirements. Adhere to all AIC company policies. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area using safety standards and quality practices. Other duties as assigned. Management may change responsibilities and/or assignments to meet the business needs without prior notice. AIC follows an at-will employment practice. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED, and a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment. Required Skills Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; verbally communicate effectively. Basic mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; apply basic concepts of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Reasoning ability: apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Read, interpret, and create blueprints. Read and interpret router instructions and specifications. Properly use and operate tools and machining equipment. Summary As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair tasks. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and skills in schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Your expertise in programmable logic controllers and electrical systems will enhance our operational efficiency. Additionally, your supervisory experience and leadership skills will contribute to a collaborative work environment, while your familiarity with CMMS will streamline maintenance processes.
