MAYVILLE, WI Order: 4295328138 Order Type: Skilled Manufacturing Direct Hire CNC Machinist Position: CNC Machinist Job Location: Mayville Starting Date: ASAP Employment Term: Direct Hire Employment Type: Full time Work Hours (Shift): 1st shift Starting Pay: $25 to $35 per hour Required Experience: 3+ years of CNC experience Responsibilities Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (3-axis and 5-axis) to perform complex machining operations. Technical Execution: Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces. Quality Control: Conduct first-piece inspections and monitor production using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure 100% accuracy. Optimization: Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain quality and improve cycle efficiency. Safety & Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and adhere to all strict safety protocols and PPE requirements. Qualifications Experience: 3+ years of experience in CNC machining, preferably within a heavy industrial or aerospace environment. Technical Skills: Proficient in reading G-code and M-code; experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls is a plus. Precision: Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods in a fast-paced production environment.
