Role Description The Title Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Worth, IL, responsible for processing and managing vehicle titles and related documentation for trucking clients. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and submitting title applications, handling transfers, corrections, and lien releases, and ensuring all paperwork complies with state and federal regulations. The role involves maintaining accurate records, verifying ownership documents, and coordinating with customers, financial institutions, and government agencies to resolve title issues. The Title Clerk will also support basic accounting entries related to title fees, and provide clear, professional customer service to carriers of various sizes. This position requires careful attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and effective communication with internal team.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, agencies, and internal staff.
• Knowledge of Notary processes and Escrow or document handling procedures relevant to title work.
• Basic Accounting skills to manage title-related fees, payments, and record keeping accurately.
• Experience with vehicle title processing, preferably in trucking, automotive, or transportation services.
• High level of attention to detail, organization, and time management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with office software and database systems for documentation, tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to work on-site in Worth, IL and collaborate effectively as part of a compliance-focused team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in office administration, finance, or transportation is beneficial.
