Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to individuals and businesses
- Research and resolve complex tax matters
- Review and manage tax engagements for partnerships, S corporations, and individuals
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff, senior associates, and supervisors
- Serve as a technical resource for the tax team
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify opportunities for new business development and cultivate referral sources
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information, resolve issues, and recommend solutions
- 7-10 years of tax experience in public accounting
- Active CPA license
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Prior management experience within a public accounting firm
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism, integrity, dependability, and attention to detail
- Experience with entity formation and liquidation
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions
- State and local tax (SALT) experience
- Experience with nonprofit organizations
- Experience with trusts and estates
- Experience with tax authority audits
- Familiarity with IRC Sections 704(b) and 704(c) partnership allocations
