Garage Door Installer

Location: Watertown, SD

Pay: $20-$22/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am- 5 pm

Join a dynamic team as an Installer, where you will contribute to the successful installation of commercial and residential garage doors. This role offers you the opportunity to grow from a laborer/helper to a lead position within a supportive and inclusive team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Meet at the shop every morning and travel to various job sites with the crew.

• Work as part of a two-person crew, assisting with the hardwiring of doors, setting tracks, and putting up springs.

• Learn and perform installations, with the potential to move into a lead role.

Essential Skills:

• At least 6 months of general construction or laborer experience required.

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

• Basic mechanical knowledge and blueprint reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of construction experience preferred.

• Proficiency with a tape measure strongly preferred.

• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 6 months is required.

Work Environment:

Work schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break and very limited Saturdays which are voluntary. Regional travel is required, but you will be home every night. You will be working on job sites installing garage doors, and will be provided with all necessary tools and equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
