Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

Join a mission-driven care team in an outpatient environment, focusing on hematology and oncology cases. The practice prioritizes rapid assessment and management of new solid tumor diagnoses, ensuring patients receive care within a week of referral. Radiation oncologists are part of the team, providing a comprehensive approach to cancer care. With a patient demographic of approximately 80% oncology and 20% benign hematology, the practice emphasizes efficient, high-quality care delivery.

Schedule and Assignment Details

This locum position is ideal for physicians seeking full-time engagement. Expect to be on-site 4 or 5 days per week, with shifts running from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role includes one weekend on-call per month, contributing to a supportive call-sharing structure. This opportunity is available starting June 5, 2026, with an unknown end date, offering ongoing professional engagement.

Support and Work Environment

The well-supported practice features a collaborative environment with three physicians and two APPs. Enjoy the backing of a comprehensive team including nursing and administrative support, ensuring smooth operation and patient care delivery. The facility utilizes the EPIC EMR system, with training provided to ensure you are fully prepared and efficient in your role.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in both Hematology and Oncology is required.
• Possession of an active OR license is highly preferred.
• Applicants must have a clean background with no malpractice history.
• CAQH credentials are required at the time of offer.
• DEA certification must be confirmed verbally upon name clearance.
• A recent self-query from the National Practitioner Data Bank is required.
