Robert Half's client is seeking a Shopper Marketing Associate who will be responsible for developing and executing shopper-focused marketing programs that drive traffic, engagement, loyalty, basket growth, and sales across retail store locations. This role collaborates with owners, vendor partners, merchandising teams, and internal stakeholders to plan and deliver in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, loyalty initiatives, retail activations, and community events. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented marketer with a strong understanding of retail marketing and consumer behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute shopper marketing programs that support store, category, and vendor growth objectives.
• Plan and implement in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, loyalty programs, and shopper engagement initiatives.
• Create and coordinate marketing materials including point-of-sale displays, signage, promotional assets, circular content, customer communications, and social media support.
• Partner with vendors, store owners, merchandising teams, advertising partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and execute marketing opportunities.
• Support local store events, community programs, fundraising initiatives, and consumer-facing activations.
• Manage vendor-funded programs and assist with shopper marketing budgets and spending priorities.
• Provide creative direction for print materials, merchandising support, promotional displays, and store-brand marketing assets.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, shopper insights, and retail marketing best practices to optimize campaign performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in shopper marketing, retail marketing, brand marketing, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting in-store promotions, retail activations, retail media, social media, print advertising, and out-of-home (OOH) marketing.
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and execution-focused.
• Creative, strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach to problem-solving.

The hourly range for this position is W2 $25/hr DOE.
