Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their litigation practice in New York, NY. This role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated legal matters in a collaborative environment.

Duties

• Handle lender-side foreclosures and bankruptcy matters.
• Manage loan workouts and restructurings.
• Conduct real estate litigation.
• Resolve general commercial and business disputes.
• Perform legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings and motions.
• Manage discovery processes.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial litigation experience.
• Active and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• New York and/or New Jersey admission and experience preferred.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
