Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg

Night shift, 6 PM - 6 AM

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Perform patient care responsibilities considering the needs specific to the standard of care for various patient age groups, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Conduct head-to-toe assessments on all patients and perform reassessments as per policy.
• Formulate teaching plans based on identified learning needs, including family as appropriate.
• Assess and reassess pain management techniques, educates patients and families on pain management.
• Communicate effectively with team members and consult with other departments to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Treat patients and families with respect and dignity while ensuring confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate documentation that meets current standards and policies.
• Identify and communicate psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs, working with social services as necessary.
• Assist physicians with procedures, demonstrating technical and manual skills as required.
• Manage equipment safely and effectively.
