Powder Coat Painter - 2nd Shift

2nd Shift Batch Painter (Powder Coat)Primary Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:30am Training Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 5:30 AM–3:30 PM Pay: $19.50/hr + $2/hr Must be able to train on day shiftJob PurposeSupport the Paint Line Team by applying quality powder coating and batch painting while assisting with material handling, job kitting, and production support as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate paint line and spray equipment.Set paint pressure and monitor coating quality.Hang, inspect, and touch up parts.Mix paint and maintain paint equipment.Apply coatings to tanks and other manufactured products.Support material handling, staging, and job kitting activities.Deliver materials to production areas and assist with workflow needs.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow all safety and quality standards.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Minimum of 1 year of Forklift experience strongly preferredManufacturing, painting, or powder coating experience preferred.Ability to read work instructions and basic blueprints.Basic math and measuring skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Team-oriented with a willingness to learn multiple functions.Physical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.Ability to move materials throughout the facility.Additional InformationNo travel required.No direct reports.Duties may change based on production needs.
