Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Surgical Scrub TechSurgical Scrub Tech Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting License: Virginia State License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience in Orthopedic and Neuro procedures Description: Must have 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Virginia state license is required. BLS certification is required. The hospital features 4 operating rooms with a staff of 20. Day shift circulators, scrub techs, and first assists work collaboratively. Patient ratios are typically 1:2 or 1:3. The unit utilizes surgical EMR software. Most recruited staff includes travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. Typical procedures performed include ALIF, XLIF, microdiscectomies, laminectomies, total joints, general surgery, gynecology, and urology. Experience with the da Vinci SI robot is preferred. Flexible personality is best suited for this role. Scrub color is green and scrubs are provided.
