\nA Fleming Island, Florida based client is seeking a Family Practice Physician to provide excellent primary care services to the community. An ideal candidate is a self-starting leader who works well in a collaborative environment, is efficient and effective at providing medical care, and values patient centered care.
\nRequired Qualifications
\n- \n
- Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree \n
- Current Florida medical license \n
- Completed an accredited residency program \n
- Current DEA certificate \n
- Board certified or board eligible in primary care \n
- Current BLS certification \n
- Spanish preferred \n
Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages \n
- Manage acute and chronic conditions \n
- Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results \n
- Perform therapeutic procedures, manage wounds and injuries, and educate patients on their treatment plans \n
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload \n
- Participates in daily interdisciplinary huddles \n
- Assist in patient utilization review of services and quality improvement \n
- Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy \n
