Regional Leadership Position in Interventional Pulmonology South Shore University Hospital, Bay Shore, NY Northwell Health North Shore University Hospital, part of a large, integrated health system in the New York metropolitan area, is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Pulmonologist for a regional leadership role within its Interventional Pulmonology (IP) program. This is a unique opportunity to lead and further develop a high-volume, multidisciplinary Interventional Pulmonology service supported by state-of-the-art technology and robust institutional resources. Position Highlights Regional leadership role in Interventional Pulmonology Large, well-resourced health system with access to procedures across a broad geographic area Established, collaborative multidisciplinary environment High procedural volume and strong patient satisfaction metrics Regular multidisciplinary case conferences Program & System Strengths Dedicated navigation team working closely with: Interventional Pulmonology Lung Cancer Screening (LCS) Incidental Pulmonary Nodule Programs Thoracic Surgery Medical Oncology Primary Care Access to the highest quality equipment, including advanced robotic platforms, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction (BLVR), and other cutting-edge bronchoscopic and pleural technologies Strong institutional support for program growth, innovation, and protocol standardization Clinical Expertise & Programmatic Focus The successful candidate will have expertise and interest in many of the following areas: Lung nodule evaluation and management Complex airway disease management Pleural disease management Development and standardization of diagnostic and treatment protocolsAirway stent placement and dilation Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction (BLVR) Foreign body removal Robotic bronchoscopy Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) Medical pleuroscopy / thoracoscopy Qualifications Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Interventional Pulmonology and Pulmonary Medicine Please contact Ali Musani, MD, View email address on click.appcast.io or Lindsay Appelman, Director, Physician Recruitment, Northwell Health, View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr Northwell Health
