Position Overview: We are currently seeking a licensed (or provisionally licensed) Clinical Mental Health Therapist to provide outpatient therapy services. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid work while serving a diverse client population—including children, adolescents, adults, and families. You’ll Thrive Here If You: Value connection and collaboration with like-minded clinicians Are passionate about helping others heal, grow, and transform Want to be part of a practice that invests in your development Are ready to bring your unique skills and niche to the table What You’ll Do: Provide clinical counseling sessions to individuals, couples, or groups, as scheduled Maintain active communication with clients and referral sources, responding within 24 hours Use evidence-based practices tailored to client goals and diagnoses Coordinate care with other providers (PCPs, psychiatrists, schools, etc.) when needed Complete documentation (intakes, progress notes, treatment plans, etc.) by Friday each week Attend staff meetings and participate in training and case consultation Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards aligned with your licensure and the practice Contribute to a positive, respectful, and collaborative team culture Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, social work, or psychology Active (or provisional) license in South Carolina: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PhD, or PsyD Available to maintain a caseload of at least 20 client sessions per week Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and communication abilities Self-starter who values teamwork and accountability Passionate about your area(s) of expertise—whether that’s trauma, teens, anxiety, grief, etc. Why Join Balanced Wellness?
