Lead Workforce Recruiter

Our client is a growing industrial services organization supporting critical infrastructure, maintenance, and field service operations across multiple end markets. As the business continues to expand, they are investing in workforce development and talent acquisition capabilities to ensure a strong pipeline of skilled trades professionals who can support long‑term operational growth. The Operational Workforce Recruiter will be responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies focused on skilled trades, field service, and operational positions. This highly visible role will partner closely with operations and HR leadership to build workforce pipelines, support training initiatives, strengthen industry partnerships, and ensure the organization can attract, develop, and retain the talent needed to support future growth. The Environment This role operates within a fast‑paced industrial services environment where workforce planning, recruiting, and employee development directly impact operational performance and customer delivery. The position works closely with operations leadership, field teams, training partners, and workforce development organizations to build sustainable talent pipelines. The environment is highly collaborative and relationship‑driven, requiring someone who can balance strategic workforce planning with hands‑on recruiting execution. The role includes travel for industry events, training partnerships, workforce initiatives, and recruiting activities. Key Focus Areas & What Success Looks Like Success for the Operational Workforce Recruiter includes: Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of skilled trades and field service talent Developing workforce strategies that support current and future hiring needs Leading full‑cycle recruiting efforts from sourcing through onboarding Establishing partnerships with technical schools, workforce programs, industry associations, and community organizations Supporting apprenticeship, training, and workforce development initiatives Improving recruiting processes, candidate experience, and hiring efficiency Collaborating closely with operations leadership to align recruiting efforts with business goals Strengthening employer branding and community engagement within target talent markets Driving long‑term workforce sustainability through proactive talent planning and development programs 8+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, workforce development, or operational staffing environments Experience recruiting skilled trades, field service, technical, or operational personnel required Background within HVACR, refrigeration, industrial services, construction, mechanical services, or related industries preferred Experience developing workforce pipelines, training initiatives, or apprenticeship programs Strong full‑cycle recruiting experience including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring Experience building relationships with schools, workforce organizations, job fairs, and industry partners Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills Ability to collaborate effectively with operations, HR, and executive leadership teams Experience with workforce planning, talent strategy, and long‑term recruiting initiatives Experience with HRIS, ATS, and recruiting technologies; Paylocity experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
