Warehouse Lead

Join our team and Be You Be Aptar. As a Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the warehouse supervisor in overseeing warehouse operations, including performance, inventory, supplies, and resource utilization. Assist with workforce planning and daily warehouse activities. Lead material handlers in maintaining inventory accuracy and the efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods. Monitor daily schedules, address operational delays, and implement corrective actions as needed. Support initiatives related to safety, training, preventive maintenance, cost reduction, staffing, and housekeeping. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and workplace standards. Verify employee attendance and manage shift staffing requirements. Prioritize workloads and assign tasks to material handlers. Lead problem-solving efforts and escalate issues to the shift supervisor when necessary. Promote a positive work environment and uphold standards of conduct. All other duties as assigned.

Who We Are Looking For

Education: Highschool diploma/GED

Experience & Skills: Previous warehouse experience required. Forklift operation experience preferred. Proficiency with computer systems; experience with material management software is a plus. Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Ability to train, coach, and mentor team members. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting employee training. Knowledge of inventory management practices. Experience supporting housekeeping and safety programs. Ability to assist with performance evaluations and workload distribution. Participation in quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
