Seasonal Cashier - Part Time

About the Role As a Cashier, you play an essential role in the customer service experience. The position may also involve duties as a sales associate, merchandiser, or stock associate. It is referred to as Front End Team Member and reports to the store management team. Responsibilities Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling. Answer customer inquiries, promote loyalty program, and bag products. Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services. Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge. Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs. Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store. Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sale and maintain a safe, compliant store environment. Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Passion for best‑in‑class customer service and a team‑player mindset. 1‑3 years of work experience; 1+ years in a retail setting preferred. Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software. Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends. Physical Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older. Walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8‑10 hours a day. Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets. Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly. May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.
