Production Assembler - Mass Production of CompressorsThe Production Technician supports compressor assembly operations. This role is hands-on and production-focused, balancing mechanical assembly work with basic team leadership, quality oversight, and daily production support. The Lead assists with training, troubleshooting, and workflow coordination to ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met.Shift:1st 5:00am to 3:00pm2nd 3:00pm to 2:00am3rd 10:00pm to 6:00amPay: 18 - 20.70/hrKey ResponsibilitiesLead and support daily assembly operations for compressor production on 2nd shiftPerform hands-on mechanical assembly of compressor components and sub-assemblies using hand and power toolsServe as a go-to resource for assemblers by answering process questions and assisting with problem-solvingEnsure team members follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, safety rules, and PPE requirementsSupport training and onboarding of new assemblers and reinforce proper assembly methodsMonitor quality during production by performing visual inspections and addressing assembly issues as they ariseCommunicate production concerns, material shortages, and quality issues to supervisors and quality personnelCoordinate workflow to help meet daily production goals and minimize downtimeStage, move, and verify components and finished assemblies are routed correctlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred2+ years of experience in assembly or manufacturing, preferably in HVAC or mechanical assemblyPrior lead, trainer, or informal leadership experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of mechanical assembly, part fitment, and fastenersAbility to read work instructions, diagrams, and production documentationComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftBasic computer skills for production tracking, data entry, or inventory systemsStrong communication skills and a team-oriented mindsetWork EnvironmentFast-paced compressor manufacturing environmentRegular exposure to industrial equipment, forklifts, and pallet jacksStanding, lifting, and repetitive tasks throughout the shiftRequired use of PPE and adherence to safety standards at all timesJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.
