OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Lansing, MI by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Run nationwide dry-van routes while joining HMD Trucking in Lansing, MI. As an OTR solo CDL-A driver, you’ll haul long-distance freight in trucks under 3 years old fitted with APUs, inverters and sleepers, with weekly averages near 2,500 miles.

Key duties:

• Safely deliver dry-van freight and maintain precise logbooks.
• Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and coordinate repairs with in-house maintenance.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and follow company and federal regulations.

Requirements & compensation:

• CDL-A and at least 12 months' experience. Compensation begins at 65 CPM plus safety, clean-inspection and referral bonuses, biweekly home time, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
