Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours guaranteed, every other weekend required, no on-call

Hours per Week: 60

Candidate Pay Rate: $42.70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care in a long-term care setting
• Assist staff nurses with treatments, procedures, and daily patient needs
• Champion patient and family centered care in every interaction
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team
• Support patients and families with education and emotional reassurance
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure superior patient experiences

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• 2+ years of long-term care (LTC) experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Michigan LTC Fingerprinting is a plus (a real selling point!)
• Strong commitment to patient and family centered care
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Long-term care nursing expertise
• Patient care and clinical assessment
• Patient and family centered care philosophy
• BLS (Basic Life Support) proficiency
• Assisting staff nurses and collaborating with the care team
• Knowledge of Michigan RN licensing and LTC fingerprinting requirements
