This role involves supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants while promoting a focus on patient and employee safety. The RN will embrace the Core Values of the organization, ensuring superior quality in all actions, treating others with respect, being results-oriented, and functioning effectively as part of a team. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, utilizing data to form individualized care plans. /n - Identify teaching needs and goals by collaborating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. /n - Provide accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in accordance with policy. /n - Participate in patient rehabilitation programs, focusing on education and achieving patient goals. /n - Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching early in the admission process. /n - Communicate effectively regarding changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care. /n - Provide direction and training to ancillary nursing personnel, delegating tasks appropriately. /n - Maintain personal and environmental safety standards as per hospital policies. /n - Engage in team building activities to foster a positive work environment. /n - Assume charge responsibilities as requested following orientation. /n - Actively pursue professional growth through continuing education and self-study. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - BLS Certification required prior to the first shift. /n - ACLS Certification required prior to the first shift (specific to certain locations). /n - Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired. /n /n/nSchedule/n This position requires a Day shift with a 3x12.0 schedule. /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
