Technical BA

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale system conversion initiative. This individual will serve as a critical link between product, business stakeholders, and engineering teams-owning requirements, driving Agile ceremonies, and ensuring user stories are clearly defined and actionable.

This role requires a true Business Analyst mindset within an Agile environment, with hands-on experience writing user stories, participating in Scrum ceremonies, and supporting delivery teams. The ideal candidate will also bring a technical foundation-including exposure to SQL, APIs, and data mapping-to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.

This position requires working onsite in the Wilmington office at least 2 days per week.

This role is highly technical and requires strong experience in data mapping, API integrations, and database querying, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers.

The resource will be required to go into the Wilmington office at least 2x per week.

Required Skills & Experience
• Demonstrated experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria for application or product development
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and Scrum ceremonies
• Ability to clearly articulate the product/application they supported and their contribution as a BA
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
• Exposure to SQL, APIs, or technical/data environments (not purely functional BA)
• Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Financial services background
• Experience supporting system conversions, migrations, or integration projects
• Hands-on experience with SQL querying or working alongside data teams
• Exposure to API integrations or technical system workflows
