Job Description Summary Market Sales Leader - Flooring Solutions Sunbelt's Market Sales Leader is equipped for success so we can make it happen for our customers. Market Sales Leaders are empowered to drive revenue by coaching one-on-one with Outside Sales Representatives and Strategic Account Managers to identify current and upcoming jobsites, distinguish key customers on those jobsites, and assist in cultivating relationships with key-decision makers such as Project Managers and Executives. Develop an effective and efficient strategic approach to the market and those targeted customers, ensuring OSR's are collaborating together to provide customers with solutions and quality service. A Market Sales Leader will harness the Power of Sunbelt by driving sales force productivity and extracting the best performance from each individual seller while identifying strategic customers and jobsites to maximize revenue. Position Responsibilities: Identification of strategic customers and key jobsites in the district and development of plan to get their business Motivating and advising OSRs on how to call on jobsites and offices properly with targeted questions and progressive visits Coaching "in the moment" through effective ride-alongs (follow-alongs). Educating on jobsite phases, product applications, and overall customer socialization Assisting PCMs in hiring and training new sales representatives Achieving objectives/targets through effective planning (Accelerate & MSP), and setting of sales goals Ensuring the sellers are utilizing their sales tools to maximize performance (Accelerate & MSP) Validating sellers are collaborating with their team mates and sharing leads across territories and Specialty businesses Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate district objectives Identify and develop new market opportunities as well as understand market dynamics, customer segmentation and key customers Grow and Develop Key Accounts by leveraging the power of Sunbelt Coach sales force and sales team to produce greater revenue streams through innovation and best practices. Expand customer diversity through new accounts and increase product awareness of existing accounts Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience plus 4+ years of proven sales experience Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals as an individual contributor Successful experience building a territory, and growing market share Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills Excellent presentation skills and computer skills Set the standard for the level of professionalism within the regions Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving history Working knowledge of different phases of construction, equipment applications, features, benefits, operation and specification Safety is key to our culture: The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Sunbelt also provides a comprehensive benefits package to its full-time employees.
