Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Location

Lufkin, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (5:45 PM – 6:15 AM) | 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 27-bed ICU setting with patient ratios of 2:1 to 3–4:1
• Monitor, assess, and manage critically ill patients during night shift hours
• Document patient care and clinical information using MEDHOST EMR
• Float to Stepdown unit as needed based on census and staffing demands
• Participate in on-call rotation as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN Licensure (applicable to state of practice)
• BLS Certification (required)
• ACLS Certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care / ICU experience
• Ability to start ASAP (projected start on or around 10/19/2026)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with MEDHOST EMR
• Experience floating to Stepdown or similar intermediate care units
• Strong adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced critical care environment
