Job Details
- Location: Athens, AL
- Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM)
- Pay Rate: $16.00 / hour
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Key Responsibilities
- Surface & Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in hallways, offices, and common areas.
- Sanitation: Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, sinks, and frequently touched surfaces (doorknobs, handrails, light switches).
- Waste Management: Empty trash cans, replace liners, and transport waste and recyclables to designated disposal areas.
- Restock Supplies: Keep soap dispensers, paper towel holders, and toilet tissue stocked across all facilities.
- Facility Maintenance: Report repairs, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to management promptly.
- Safety & Compliance: Store cleaning chemicals and operate equipment safely according to OSHA and facility safety guidelines.
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work early morning hours (5:00 AM start time) reliably.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 40 lbs ), and perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Strong work ethic, punctual attendance, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
