Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule

12hr Nights; 1900-0730, 3 days per week.

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: Not specified.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience.
  • Experience with TR Band's straight from procedure.
  • Experience with Cardiac Drips (Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem).
  • Experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process preferred.
  • 2-5 years of TEL experience preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Provide care for patients in the telemetry unit.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and heart rhythms.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Document patient care and report changes in condition.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.

Compliance / Notes

This is a nicotine-free facility. Attendance required for orientation and necessary training prior to start. Holiday rotations may apply based on unit needs.
