Make an Impact Where it Matters Most as a Hospitalist in Fresno, California

Deliver patient-centered care that makes a difference. In this role, you'll collaborate with a skilled team, contribute to clinical excellence, and enjoy opportunities for professional growth - all while serving the Fresno community.

Local Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with a team of 50 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers at Community Regional Medical Center.
Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community.
Community Medical Centers is affiliated with UCSF Fresno, which offers training to residents and fellows.

Qualifications:

Board-certified/eligible nurse practitioners with acute care certification required.

FNP-trained nurses need to have at least one year of previous hospital medicine NP experience.
Active California license preferred.
Experience in a hospital setting with inpatient care is preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

Full- or part-time, day-shift role.
7 on/7 off schedule.
Shifts are 12 hours; 7 am - 7 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient care in a closed ICU environment.
Consulted only on medical issues. Psychiatry is the primary for all patients.
Our patient population is diverse, so we are looking for a nurse practitioner who relishes the challenge of addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs.
Utilize Epic EMR system.

National Park access to three of the world's most scenic and treasured parks is within 90 minutes of Fresno and Clovis: Yosemite National Park, Kings Canyon National Park, and Sequoia National Park.
Fresno is a few hours' drive from California's picturesque coastline. Explore the beautiful beaches and charming towns along the Central Coast, such as Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea, or Pismo Beach.
Enjoy a mild year-round climate with more than 300 days of sunshine annually.
Fresno's location in the agricultural heart of California means it is surrounded by fresh, locally grown produce. From farm-to-table restaurants to lively farmers' markets, food lovers will find plenty to enjoy. The city boasts a rich array of dining options.

Rewards and Compensation:

Annual compensation of $160,000 - $165,000 + bonuses, based on the number of shifts worked.
Moonlighting premium for additional shifts.
