Job description We’re looking for a QMA with a compassionate mindset and a passion for helping seniors. A self-starter with enthusiasm and initiative. This team member loves caring for patients and knows how to develop lasting trust. Could this be you? Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Monitor vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs). Provide emotional support to patients and families. Educate patients and families about health care maintenance. Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse. Assist with geriatric care needs. Qualifications: Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) by the state Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property. Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and makes quick decisions. Can foster good resident and family relationships. Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment. A passion for working with elderly residents. Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility a plus, but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Towne Centre Living
