About the Team The US Local Markets team drives DoorDash’s growth at the local level. As the "local operators" we identify and execute opportunities to accelerate growth and improve our product for customers, merchants, and Dashers. About the Role DoorDash is seeking a Manager for the Strategy & Operations team to accelerate growth in the Southeast and Texas regions. Positions are based in Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville (Southeast) or Austin or Houston (Texas). The role blends analytics with creativity to scope and implement solutions, working independently and as part of a larger team. You will report to the General Manager of the US Local Markets team and lead a strategy and operations team based in your market. The role is hybrid, with time in‑office and remote. Key Responsibilities Own business outcomes—set and drive towards regional targets for growth and profitability Build the team—recruit, lead, and develop high‑performing candidates on the US Local Markets team Influence—work cross‑functionally with Ops, Product, Finance, Analytics, Sales, Marketing, Dasher, and Logistics partners to support strategic projects and unlock growth opportunities Operate—figure out the path from A to B and execute it Experiment—run tests, scale insights, and navigate multiple paths to success in a competitive market We’re Excited About You Because 6+ years of experience in high‑performance cultures (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or related fields) Prior experience leading and motivating a team Talent for summarizing complex problems and translating high‑level goals into relevant plans Bias toward action and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment Willingness to get hands dirty and openness to feedback Crave for responsibility and desire to shape regional direction Experience in a complex or high‑growth environment; early‑stage startup experience is a plus Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s degree a plus Experience in logistics, product management, business operations, and/or partnerships is a plus Compensation The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range below and is determined based on job‑related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to the employee’s work location. In addition to base salary, compensation includes opportunities for equity grants. The national base pay range for this position is $136,000—$200,000 USD. Paid Time Off Details For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year. For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g., about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g., about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
