Manufacturing Team LeaderPosition Summary: The Manufacturing Team Leader is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery objectives are met. This role provides hands-on leadership to production teams, coordinates operational priorities, and drives continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, equipment utilization, and workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with manufacturing experience, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally to solve problems and improve performance.Key Responsibilities:Lead daily activities in the forming area to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery goals.Provide direction, coaching, and support to employees in accordance with company policies and management expectations.Supervise team performance and promote accountability, engagement, and continuous development.Monitor and improve manufacturing methods, process flow, equipment effectiveness, labor utilization, and capacity.Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, improve quality, and control cost.Support the introduction of new products, process changes, and operational improvements within the production area.Ensure compliance with safety policies, environmental health and safety programs, quality standards, and standard operating procedures.Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and operations leadership, to resolve issues and improve overall performance.Communicate production updates, technical information, project status, and scheduling impacts to leadership and other stakeholders.Recommend improvements to departmental procedures, workflows, and team practices to support operational excellence.Required Experience and Skills:Bachelor's degree preferredPrior manufacturing or leadership experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to lead teams and work effectively in a collaborative manufacturing environmentDemonstrated success in implementing process improvements and driving operational resultsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced production settingPreferred Qualifications:Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement toolsStrong technical aptitude and curiosity for manufacturing processes, equipment, and problem-solvingThis position does not support immigration sponsorship.The range for this position is $88,942.00 - $122,295.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
