It's a great feeling to work for a company that does so much good for others around the world!Education: Required – High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in a related field.Experience: Required – With a high school diploma, at least 3 years related direct experience.Preferred – With bachelor’s degree may substitute for experience.Job Summary: The Family Engagement Coordinator is responsible for using soundprofessional judgment and best practices to ensure quality services areprovided to the service population while maintaining compliance withestablished program standards.Essential Functions:1. Coordinate the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) and ensure members are activelyengaged in program decision-making.2. Solicit and share family feedback with the PAC for analysis, strategy development, andservice coordination.3. Develop, review, and revise a quarterly outreach plan with the support of the PAC.4. Conduct family surveys to assess needs and review results with the PAC.5. Partner with the PAC to host parent-led events, initiatives, parent cafes, and otherworkshops.6. Provide targeted outreach and recruitment of participants for FRC activities to identifyunderserved populations.7. Provide/facilitate training for families on self-advocacy and leadership.8. Establish and maintain a trusting and professional working relationship with families byproviding regular contact.9. Record all group and individualized services and activities in a complete, concise, andtimely manner utilizing program forms into PEIRS (DFPS) Salesforce (BCFS) databases.Measurable Deliverables:1. Document all attendance on a weekly basis in all platforms.2. Attend all required annual trainings.3. Provide community education on child development, parenting, or other topics requestedby the PAC monthly.4. Collaborate with the supervisor to develop updates, reminders, and communityeducation information monthly.5. Meet with supervisor on a bi-weekly basis to evaluate status of families on caseload.6. Meet all deliverables as outlined in the contract.7. Demonstrate the ability to:a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural andsocio-economic characteristics.b. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English.c. Work in a fast-paced environment.d. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.e. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as amember of a multidisciplinary team.f. Travel as needed.8. Other job duties as assigned per grant requirements.Requirements:1. Maintain certificates required for the position including but not limited to First Aid andCPR.2. Valid Texas Driver’s license with a clear driving record and reliable transportation.3. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens.4. Provide proof or work eligibility status upon request.5.
