Night-Time Trucking Dispatcher

Job Description
We are a Phoenix-based trucking company providing professional services for our customers for over 20 years. We are looking for a full time night-time dispatcher that has knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations, understands hours of service, and has logistics experience.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts
- Address any hours of service or routing issues for drivers
- Monitor road conditions, construction zones, and accidents in order to revise routes as needed
- Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
- Find loads for backhauls
- Updating spreadsheets, reports, pass downs
- Finding service centers in case of mechanical breakdowns
- Monitoring the yard and opening the gate for drivers
- Other miscellaneous office duties.
Compensation will depend on your experience in the industry. Knowledge with Electronic logging devices and dispatching software preferred.
